Greetings, all.

I will soon be receiving a minty fresh set of Blumenstein Orcas/subwoofer and would very much like to hear them driven by a SET amp before I decide whether or not to buy a Stereomour kit.  If there are any folks in the DC area that would like to hear a set of Orcas on their Bottlehead, it would be my pleasure to bring them by for a listening session.

Many thanks,
Mike Lewis

There is a small group of us who meet about twice a year. Our last meet was cancelled due to the recent hurricane. Steve and David live in Virginia and you might contact them.

I suspect our next meet will be in April or May and of course you will be most welcome.

I have a set of Paramour I with upgraded iron that should be pretty similar to the stereomour.  Not to mention, I have a stereomour waiting to be built.  Perhaps we can have a mini-meet after the holidays.

Thanks, David and Ray, for the replies.

A mini-meet after the holidays sounds great, as does partaking of the semi-annual larger group.

I had seen the thread on the most recent event.  Glad everyone weathered the storm with minimal damage.

I'll keep my eye out for the next event, and will get in touch with you, David, in January.

Happy Holidays, all!
Cheers,
Mike

A while back I was on teh East Coast and attended a meet of this group - great bunch of guys (and Deb!), lots of the true Bottlehead eXperimenter spirit. I had a great time; these people are worth getting to know.

Hey guys. How about aiming for the 24th of February for the mini meet? Let me know if that works. Good to see a new member of our group. Hope you can make it Mike.
