Hey guys!  Newbie here with a new found Crack addiction!  Anyway, I'm not terribly happy with the way my wooden Crack enclosure turned out (I'm horrible at finishes/staining/painting) and am curious if pre-made enclosures/bases exist?  Has anyone had any luck using Hammer texture paint on the top aluminum plate?  If I end up ordering new wood pieces and staining instead of painting, what stain is preferred?  I really want my crack to look semi professional, and after seeing everyone's builds, I now it's possible.  Thanks!

These are always nice:

The hammer texture pain works well, just be sure to clean the plate really well before you apply it, then stick it out in the sun for an hour or so.
