I just wanted to brag for the "Official" Bottleheads.  There has been a flurry of new posters in the last week or two.  The lurkers are either coming out of the woodwork or there is a post elsewhere that is luring them to the friendliest site on the web.

I think at least some of it is coming from the excellent showing that some BH products made at the Burning Amp fest -- and BH Ambassador Cary Chin.

I have no idea what, if any BH gear was at RMAF this year. Unfortunately RMAF came and went without much notice from me -- just had too much other stuff on my plate to even condider going this year. Oops, forgot about Xavier's SR-45s with his friends big horn systems -- I'll see what kind of feedback I can find on that. Can't imagine that didn't turn a few heads. :-).

I suspect the largest influx of newbs to the forum is due to the number of specials we have run recently, like the two Crack specials we ran this summer and the current S.E.X. special at Massdrop. The amp comparison posted by Loquah at Head Fi is getting quite a bit of attention too.

I'm really glad to hear that and hope that the thread I started is responsible for some of that flurry because you're creating awesome products and a great community that deserve all the positive attention they can receive!!

Looking forward to adding the Quickie and Mainline to the thread in the coming weeks (or months depending on my building expertise) so hope that generates ongoing interest and enthusiasm.

Whether any of it is from "my" thread or not, I hope the interest and success continues to build!!  :)

PFS,

If that's you on head-fi, just want to say what a great job of comparing amps and writing them up. Very well done!

Thanks Jim. It's been a fun process. I'm itching for the next round with the Quickie in transit as I write this. It's nice to know people are enjoying it and hopefully benefiting from it.

To me, the Quickie will always be a no brainer! And to think that I scoffed at the poor little thing the first time I saw it. I called it the Quackie. Just try to pry it from my cold dead fingers.

LOL By the sound of that I wouldn't even try to take it from you.

I have to admit to a similar first impression. I'm looking forward to proving it well wrong.
