Stereomour(2A3), Eros, Crack/Speedball, Thorens TD160 MKII, Grace F9E, Sennheiser HD600's, Frugelhorn 3's, DIY 8" Subs.

If at first, the idea is not absurd, then there is no hope for it.

Picked up a pair of Sennheiser HD 414s from a friend the other day.  Early 70s versions, 2000 ohm  ??? model.  Guess that adds another 'other' to your list.

Sound like cr*p directly off of an iPod (not surprising) but pretty good using the headphone out on my big old 70s era SS receiver.

I had a pair of them as my first decent 'phones. My Dynaco PAT-4 (hawk....spit!) could dive them directly.
