Late addition, just saw this thread.
Not your normal Brass compositions but amazing performances and dynamics try the Mercury Living Presence CD "Screamers" Circus Marches, Frederick Fennell and the Eastman Wind Ensemble. Thunder and Blazes is just stunning. One of my work colleagues is a very good trombonist and this recording left him speechless.
For some quick brass entertainment, check out on YouTube
" Mnozil Brass" . Live theatrical brass virtuosos. "Lonely Boy" is hilarious. They hail from Austria and occasionally tour. My afore mentioned colleague saw them last year at Sydney Opera House and still raves about them.If you appreciate supreme musicianship, flawless performance ,humour and of course Brass keep your eye out for one of their tours

That's a clever interpretation. I wonder if they do a V-twin trombone ? :)

I might get the Sportster out this weekend, looks like nice riding weather ahead.

Since Trombone Shorty has already been mentioned, try Bones Apart (Carol Jarvis) and Badbone & Co.(Dennis Rollins).  Look up the Latzsch Trombone Festival.

Clifford Brown and Wynton Marsalis have already been mentioned.
Freddie Hubbard deserves a listen.
