Glad to know many are amused by my suggested name.

I understand Doc's comment about "Best" being a tad pretentious but given my experience with your gear to date, I wouldn't say it's far from being a true statement.

Since there's an Eros, how about Philos or Agape? (perhaps too obscure)

I like Agape too - it's digital so not quite as visceral as Eros. Plus of course, it sounds so un-digital it leaves your mouth agape!  :^) maybe we should spell it authentically: Ἀγάπη

I'm reading definitions of Eros as physical love - more the visceral attraction, and Philia as mental love - more the cerebral attraction. I would suggest that this might be more appropriate to delineate LP from digital.

As for Agape, the unconditional spiritual love?
Well agape does rhyme with tape. Coincidence? I think not.

The meaning changes depending how you say it:
... "rhymes with tape" means amazement.
... "ah gah pey" means unconditional love (typically has spiritual connotations)

In french "une agape" is a small meal. It comes from the religious meaning of the word : "une agape" was the small meal the first christians took together in what would become known as a church.

Hi,

I posted in the other thread, not realizing there is this thread on this topic already.

I like most suggestions, but I am partial to "lust": it is carnal, yet virtual. It is satisfying in itself, although it is a necessary step to greater satisfaction.

And yes, a Quickie at the output would make even more sense with Lust.

;o)

What about a competition among forum members, then let the Queen choose a name from those posted.
