I'm thinking about hooking up a dac to the Quickie, and noticed there are a bunch of different kinds.  There are USB ones that hook up to the computer, and other ones that hook up with optical or coaxial connections.  Would it be better to hook up a dac with an optical connection then use wireless, or use something like a dragonfly and use a long cable?

The interface really depends on how your media is stored/retrieved and the outputs available.  Then you can factor proximity and transmission quality.  Doesn't do much good to go with a transmission protocol that your equipment doesn't support.
