Having the high DC voltage on the OPT winding requires that the winding be rated for such voltage. Not all transformers are rated for that, and our customers swap parts with reckless abandon, so it would be imprudent of us to recommend that connection. Nevertheless there are some who think the high voltage affects the sound, subtly.
