I would say that many of us are mostly analog. I will be willing to try it once I have more than a CD player in the chain. I an probably one of the few here awaiting the BH DAC to move to the next level of digital playback.

I have Amarra Symphony Plus (I think that is what they call it now)  that I purchased at RMAF for about $150. I would love to try the IRC option, but to upgrade is almost $400. A little to rich for my blood. In today's software market, I would expect a very sophisticated piece of software for that price and not just what is basically some added functionality to what is already an expensive piece of software. From what I have seen on the Web, there are many tools out there that will perform basically the same function as the AS-IRC for a fraction of the price. Granted, such tools will not interface with AS-IRC but the result is much the same.

FWIW, I ponied up for Symphony w/IRC last week, and got my microphone yesterday.  The upgrade from Amarra to Amarra Symphony itself was noticeable in a positive way, but the IRC option takes it to another level.

I'm using a newly created filter file after running the measurement tool and the improvement is not subtle.  I was surprised at the differences left to right in my room!  I've never done anything about room treatments although it is a dedicated media room.  Bass really tighten up and revealed another layer or two that was previously hidden by boominess and bloat.  Voices sound more real and the soundstage better defined.

Looking forward to tweaking things and learning more about filter curves and optimization.  3 years ago, I would have not believed that my main stereo amps would 3 watts per channel kit built Paramounts.  But man these things sound great!
