Electrolytic cap values for the PSU in ver 2.1

Hello...

I have not yet purchased a S.E.X. kit but I plan to shortly.  Could someone tell me what the electrolytic cap values for the PSU are.  I'd like to see if I can find some Blackgate caps that will work.

You would need 450v caps which i don't think exist in Blackgates. The supplied Panasonics for the power supply are about as good as you can get, certainly i haven't found any suitable replacements with better specs.  Personally i wouldn't bother doing anything with them, you would be far better off putting the money into decent teflon or film caps for the audio path instead.

Yeah, 350v is the highest I can put my hands on.  I agree about putting the money into the signal path. That's where it'll go

The power supply improvements are down the line from C4S, NOS tubes and Film coupling caps in the bang for the buck list.
