Greetings, I have had my Stereomour for about a year now and I love it. But as time goes on I am wondering what different tubes will sound like. I am using the Tekton Lore speakers rated at 98db sensitivity and I know SET's like a little more sensitivity but I am getting more than enough volume for my apartment. My question is whether 45's will be too low of a wattage for the Lores, and in that case should I just try the JJ 2A3s? I am running OS RCA Dual Plates right now with a Genelex 12AT7, which sound great, but I want to hear another tube. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are getting "more than enough volume" with a 2A3, a 45 wil probably give you one notch down the scale - which I guess would be "enough volume".

The Lores will do fine with the 45s.  That is what I use and my room is 17 by 10 by 14ft, and the volume is more than adequate, but make sure you do the changes in the wiring noted in another thread.
