Funny.  The PS1 was my first CD player outside of portables.  I had the one with the RCA jacks on the back too.  It worked well but the used NAD 502 I picked up was easily superior.  I eventually tossed the PS when it developed problems.

The world was made for those not cursed with self-awareness.

I could swear the one I bought sounds very good.
