No Power

Hi Everyone,

Just got the crack and finished building it, but I seem to be getting no power at all.

After I finish the build, I check the resistance of all the pins mentioned, which all match.
So I moved forward and plugged in the power, but nothing happened; no glowing and my multimeter show no voltage. Took a look at the fuse and it was blown, and now is replaced. Once I again I plugged into power, and I get nothing. I went through the manual again to see is everything was connected corretly, and to my eye all is good.

Not sure what to now, is my crack dead or did I royally mess up.

Did the second fuse blow?

No, the second fuse is good and is currently installed.

Double check that fuse was installed properly, power cord plug was in securely, switch was on. If all those are OK, switch the amp off, unplug the amp from the wall outlet, turn it over, plug it back in and turn on the power switch. Carefully measure the AC voltage across power transformer terminals 4 and 5. This should read around 6.3V AC.

Double check everything, Fused installed properly as well as the power plug. Measure terminal 4 and5 and as mentioned on my first post; I still get no voltage.  :'(

Now I'm getting somewhere! I'm getting the 120 VAC on terminals 1 and 2, but still not sure where to go from there.

Next you'll want to measure the AC voltages between the other pairs of terminals on the transformer.  (Also, your power transformer looks to not be mounted properly, I would recommend revisiting the manual and correcting any errors)

When you turn the power on, do the tubes glow?
