Hello
I've been running the crack for a week now with no issues. All resistance and voltage checks were good.
I've just installed the speedball.
After installing the small board all voltage checks were good and the amp sounded good.
After installing the large board the voltages are off. I have not connected anything to it so I have no idea how it sounds.
Here are the voltage numbers for the large board.
OA   73.9
OB  102.1
G        0
G+  178.3

Here are the small board numbers after the large board was installed:
OA   32.1
IA   176
B_A/B 0
IB    178
OB  75.4

The LED in socket D2 on the A side is not illuminating
I had to move some wires around the 9 pin socket to get the standoff in place. I think that is where my issue is.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Yes, I would suggest looking at the nine pin socket terminal connections with a magnifier to see if anything got crossed up or came loose.

As suspected there was a problem with the 9 pin socket.
The LED at D2 is still not illuminating but the voltages on the small board are a usable 66v now

You should be sure that the B+ connection on the big board is being sourced from the correct terminal, as I'm guessing your OA voltage was not 32V before installing the big PCB.

The B+ is connected to the 4U as specified in the manual. There was a short on the 9 pin socket that was causing the issue. I didn't trim the end of one of the leads connected close enough and when I installed the standoff I moved some wires and caused the short. I trimmed the offending lead and the problem was solved. Fortunately no damage was done.
I currently have a wonderful sounding Crack with Speedball. Thanks for the feedback.
