I'd like to put a passive pre in front of the Seductor.  It will just have inputs, volume and outputs.

What's my best impedance for the volume in this configuration?

Thanks

It depends upon the output impedance of the source, but in general for a passive controller you want around 10K to 20K ohms. Our Submissive preamp would work quite well for that function and probably sound better than passives based on pots or switched attenuators using surface mount resistors.

Thanks Doc - I've already got one built and after the kit build will try it.  It's got a 10k in it now.  If that doesn't go well I'll pony up for another kit.
