A pair of Kaiju might well be a good match for the ESL-57, but if I spent upwards of $3,700 and they DIDN'T work better than - for example- a $200 used AMC CVT-2030, I would be madder than Godzilla after Ghidorah swats him.

Slightly off topic, but I have Quad ESL 2805's which sound wonderful on my Stereomour I. Loud enough for my tastes, and the sound is just very very good. Very transparent, very spacious, very SET-like beautiful. I also listened a few times to the ESL's on a home-brew 300B, and the sound was even better.

I think that Tubes & ESLs are a match made in sonic heaven.

Here you are posting about your actual listening experience with ESLs and 300B amps. That's rather unfair, don't you think?  ;)
