Hi

I'm am about to enter the world of computer audio but don't know enough about what parameters and values are important to make sure that the DAC that I get will work with the FPIII.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

The input impedance of the Foreplay is relatively high so it will not be a troublesome load for any DAC. It has plenty of gain and it can be adjusted down if necessary. Really the only potential issue is that you will need a DAC with single ended RCA output jacks unless you want to use a card with a balanced output and an XLR to RCA interconnect.

Thanks Doc.

I am going to see if I can start slow by trying an old G4 tower with a large external drive that I have and see where it goes from there.
