Hi there,

Has anyone tried to replace the output transformer (OT3) with the lundahl ll7401?
I'm planning to replace it. I don't know how the sound improves

A 1:1 output transformer is going to make the Mainline sound much, much worse.

Thanks Paul,

Would you like to give me ratio output transformer?

I would use what we provide in the kit.  I have not run into any other suitable output transformer that will drop into the Mainline circuit and work just as the originals.

Hi,
Just curious if you ever changed out your transformer?
What were the results?

This is a bad idea. I don't understand what the original reason for changing it was. The OT-3 is designed specifically for this application.
