For PJ, would you mind giving a link to your BSC filter calculator?  ...
It's at the bottom of the SEXy Speaker page:

http://www.bottlehead.com/loosep/S.E.Xy%20speakers.html

This is for a 9" cabinet width, just change the 0.033uF capacitor in proportion to the cabinet width, e.g. an 18" cabinet would want 0.066uF. Values are not highly critical - 20% accutracy is probably OK, and a 30% spread is a good range for experimenting to see if another value works better in your room with your speakers.

Many have suggested that cabinets more than 24" wide don't really need a BSC filter. The general-purpose one I built used a pot in place of the top 10K resistor, to adjust how much compensation you actually use. Some larger boxes need less than the full 6dB. Here's the modified circuit:

IN ------------------- 0.0012uF -------------- OUT
                            |               |
                            |               V
                            ------- 10k ohm -----
                                                         |
                                                         |
                                                       10k ohm
                                                         |
                                                       0.033uF
                                                         |
GND ------------------------------------------- GND

Now can this be put at the speaker or should it be in the circuit of the amplifier?
