As is said often in East Tennessee, "You done good!"
I would say 98% of the problems are solved by the board. Some, not that many, go on for page after page. This is usually because the questions are skipped and not answered by the guy with the problem. When it is solved the answer was a question on page 1 or 2.
What we don't see is the majority of Crack kits that turn on and are dead silent from the start. The forum might give first time kit builders a slanted view of the ease of the kit.
I would say that too many builders get in a hurry, don't check the pictures well enough and don't take the time to make a good solid solder joint.
Bottlehead instructions are the best I have ever seen. I have built kits since 1964. Just my opinion.
