Ground buss instead of Terminal Strip

Would there be any issues using a star ground or ground buss made from 10 or 12 gauge bare copper wire instead of building one  from the terminal 21-25 strip?  I thought of doing that on the Eros tape, but just stuck with the terminal strip. I would still use the 4/40 screw to mount the tab holding the buss wire.

Unless I am missing something in the instructions there is not much, other  than grounds, on the 3 strips T16-T30.  The signal input leads at T19 & T27 seem to be the only non ground connections in  the 3 terminal strip row. 

I don't see any resistance checks or voltage checks on the 3 strips.  Seems to me the buss would be simpler, but don't want to create issues down the road.  Am I off the reservation here?

I don't remember that Eros uses a star ground.  It uses a running buss of twisted wire.

You could increase the size of the wire but it wasn't easy to weave the smaller wire in and out of the lower terminals.  A larger wire might not fit the lower terminal holes or might be too hard to weave in and out.

Yes, weaving the thin buss wire into the terminal strip is exactly what I am trying to avoid.  A heavy single wire ground buss would be, perhaps, a bit easier.  There are 3 terminal strips for T16-T30.  T20-T26 becomes the ground buss.  T19 and T27 are the input grid stoppers.  T16, T17,T18 and T28,T29,T30 are all unused. So my thought is to build a ground buss with a  non-grounded terminal at each end for the grid stoppers.  I was just looking for some validation on the circuit implementation. I think I am reading the schematic and the manual correctly, but sometimes....  (BTW, my Eros tape used most of those unused terminals for the EQ circuits!)
