Hi, on page19 of my new crack manual, there is a revision dated 5/6/10 that changes a cut black wire from 2" to 3" and has you solder one end to term 4 of power trans.and other to term 14u instead of term 22l. it states that may yield quieter operation. do you recommend this revision?
Also- maybe dumb but are resisters directional?
thanks you guys( that includes girls)

1) The difference is theoretical and you would be hard pressed to hear a difference. It really doesn't matter as long as the wire is attached to ground.

2) Resistors are not directional.
