Hey guys,

Total noob here, just purchased the crack and speedball a few months back and finally got around to building it last week. Unfortunately, I have no engineering background and have basically no knowledge base on which I can begin troubleshooting :( and I'm unable to get it turned on.  I have some desoldering wick, a voltmeter with me for assistance. Thanks again everyone!

You said you have the Crack and Speedball, is this a stock built Crack?

Did you do the resistance checks?

Voltage checks?

Yes it is a stock built crack and speedball. I did the resistance checks and got very strange results. Here they are below.

A stock Crack build DOES NOT have a Speedball.

Your first step is to remove the Speedball and install the resistors.

Then repeat the resistance checks.

DO NOT plug in your Crack without passing resistance checks. The instructions are quite clear about this.
