Just stepping foot into the headphone world after recently completing my first setup:

Table: Technics SL-Q2
Cartridge: AT-VM540ML
Receiver: Denon x3400h
Preamp:  Micromega MyGroov MM/MC
Speakers: Ascend Acoustics CMT-340
Headphones: Sennheiser HD 600

My HD 600s sound awful through my Denon receiver's headphone input. When I research what amp compliments the HD 600 best I find that the Bottlehead Crack comes up most often. However, I haven't been able to find much information on how the Crack works amongst a turntable set-up. Do I have the right gear for this sort of thing? Should I entertain another option entirely? Thanks for helping a newbie out with some guidance!

You can definitely plug the outputs of the MgGroov into the Crack; that will work nicely.

I use the Crack, usually with a Technics SL-1200.   I use a Seduction phonostage.   Works great.
