Just checking in to confirm that the new sockets arrived and the build is back on track!

I have to say, building these kits was more fun back when I didn't have a 2-year-old child and could therefore devote more focussed building time in one sitting. (Which is not to say that having said 2-year-old isn't wonderful  :) )
