Here's what takes all my concentration in the summer before the Bonneville Motorcycle Speed Trials. It's been a long 10 months sorting out what kept me from having a proper running bike last year. An intermittent fuel pump and consequently jetting way too rich seems to have been the main problem along with some misbehaving gauges. Looks like that is sorted and now we just have minor issues to solve like getting the bike to stop.

Thank God for the old Fred Flintstone type of braking.

No big deal. The building would have stopped me.

By the way, I came up with a new logo for our racing effort and immediately had requests for T-shirts and stickers. T shirt is now available at our Zazzle store -

Posted on social media but don't think I posted this here - as if I don't have enough to keep me occupied already I will also be running this second bike at BMST this year. This one will run in the Run Whatcha Brung non-competition category, to give me a taste for going somewhat faster than my 250cc nitrous race bike can go. Looking at maybe 150-160?

I had a late 70's vintage Kawasaki KZ-1000 up to 125 one time. It went from fun to fear in a matter of seconds.

Scaring yourself a little now and then is a lot of fun.

Lots of bottle is needed to go fast at Bonneville. Good luck this year.
