The setup in the photo is simply running the Q through the aux input on an old onkyo integrated. The source is my iphone. It does not have a separate pre out.
This is not the ideal way to use the Quickie. You don't run a preamp into another preamp. It's supposed to go directly into the amp. The way you have it will increase noise/distortion big time.
You would be better off going from iPhone to Quickie to ST70.

Do either of your integrateds have an "Amp in" or "Main in" connection like in this pic?

If so then you plug your iPhone into the input of the Quickie and connect the output of the Quickie to the Main in of your integrated.
