I'm wondering if human error is one of the most often causes of "Magic Smoke."  I have let the smoke out of a lot of stuff.

I fitted the outer and center pins of a piece of O-Gauge model RR track into a socket in the 50s.  It made an impression.

Guys... This isn't making me feel any better.... Comparing folding down the leads of a capacitor against the metal casing to sticking stuff in a wall socket seems a little harsh   ;)

Were you the one who bought that pre-built Steremour Doc was selling last week?

No, that was a different Randy.  Me!
