Is it possible to use two 3pin balanced outputs instead of 6.5mm stereo and 4 pin balanced? I have a nice cardas cable for LCD3 with twin 3pin balanced plugs

Personally i would put a 4pin XLR plug onto your headphone cable, or make up a small 4pin to dual 3pin adapter cable. Fitting dual 3pins to the amp is of course an option if you really wanted to.

That is we we use the standard D style jacks. You can put whatever you like in the mounting holes, and a pair of XLRs could be installed using the wires that normally go to the 4 pin XLR.
