Hi, please forgive my ignorance, but I currently have a Rega RP6 turntable, with the Exact MM cartridge, Rega Fono stage and Bottlehead Mainline headphone amp.
I was looking at getting the Bottlehead Reduction to replace the Rega, but I have a couple of questions -

1. I'm pretty sure it is, but this phono stage is designed for Moving Magnet cartridges right?
2. Will I also need a pre-amp? (hence the subject title  ;) )

If any advice could be given before the sale ends on Sunday, that'd be great!

Yes, the Reduction is a MM phono stage. This can feed your Mainline directly, no need for a pre-amp.

Reduction is intended for use with MM cartridges with at least 5mV nominal output. The Exact is well above that and should be a great match.
