Hi, I have a question about the wiring of the 9 pin socket. I have a manual showing a black wire going from B9 to terminal strip 8L. (Pg 45)

Later in the manual it is shown to be from B9 to (I think) 10L.

I can't fit all the drain wires in 8L, so I am moving the original placement of that wire to B9 to 10L.

Thanks
Ben

You'll want to go with what's written in the manual, not what's in the later photograph later in the manual.  There was an error in initial construction that was changed during the course of writing the manual.

Okay. I am struggling fitting 4 drain wires and two solid core wires into one hole of the terminal. If I just have the wire tips wedges in there prior to soldering, is that sufficient?
Thanks.

I feel your pain, as I've built 5+ of the original Stereomours.

What I would recommend is to fit as many drain wires in as you can.  When you can't fit another one in, just wrap it around one of the drain wires that's already through the hole as close to the terminal strip as possible.

Paul,
I also built my Stereomour with the B9 to 10L wire attached. What would be the downside since 10L and 8L are connected by the bare wire (as is 6L)?
Thanks

Boris

The cathode bias resistors on one side become more difficult to attach properly IIRC.
