Specifically for use in headphone amplifiers like C/C2A, Mainline, S.E.X. (would speaker amps be any different?).

1.) When would you use one fuse type over another?

2.) Are there sonic benefits? There are some pretty crazy "audiophile" fuses out there.

Example specimens:
Bussmann / Eaton GMA-1.5-R

Bussmann / Eaton GMD-1-R

Thanks in advance for your input!  ;D

A GMD is a slow blow type fuse and the GMA is a fast blow type fuse.

Questions about audiophile fuses are something else that's probably better discussed on a forum that more specifically deals with those topics.
