Use AC Power
« on: June 19, 2017, 12:00:30 PM »
Had a ton of fun building the quicksand. Wonder if anyone has any thoughts/plans on how to build a basic powersupply to run it off the Wall AC? I'm somewhat new to this, so I have only some vague ideas of how I might go about it. Thanks in advance!

Google "18v dc power" - good place to start!

There are tons and tons of DC supplies for laptops that are "in the ballpark" in terms of voltage, you'd just have to scab them in or add a DC power connector to the plate.
