My pm6a lowthers could do with a 47 ohm resistor put across the speaker terminals as per lowther America.  Rather than open up the spealers, can I just put it at the amp end on the speaker posts? My speaker cabinets do not have binding posts and i run them direct from the amp. Would I get the same resluts for testing?

Thanks,

Shreekant

It's slightly better in theory to have the resistor closer to the driver, but it will work fine.

Thanks. So I can put in now, without blowing up the amp, and then do it at the speaker end during the  weekend..
