I'm mightily enjoying my new Mainline, but a thought occurred to me that I couldn't find an answer to using the search function:  how long should I expect the 6C45pi tubes to last in my Mainline?  They are, after all, a power tube, right?  My experience has been that preamp tubes like the 12AU7 last years and years, but power tubes don't.  The KT88s in my VTL power amp, for instance, only go 3 or so years before they start acting flakey and I have to replace them.

But the 6C45pi is an entirely new tube for me.  I hadn't even heard of it until I read about the Mainline.

Do any of you have any insight for me?

I have had 6C45's in service in a few headphone amps that go way back (as has Doc B.), and I can't remember any of us ever actually wearing a set out.
