Looking for a new project and wondered if the Seductor would support some 10 -12" woofers?  Just need it to fill in the low for my MMG's, building stands for them and I have just enough space for a 10" below them so can I stay all BH gear and power the woofers with a Seductor?  From like 200 Hz down, I have some outputs to try out with some BH-5's and some TFA-2004Jr's needing a home.

You haven't told us the sensitivity.

I have the Peerless 10" that is rated at 86 dB.  I was looking at getting a Burro that is 92 or a Dayton woofer that is 90dB to try out.

Of course it will work from a basic functionality standpoint, but you really need more like a 96dB woofer setup to get to the 102dB max we suggest as the "able to play anything" power level. Perhaps look at the calculated peak output level of the MMGs with the amps they run on, and plan to have enough bass driver sensitivity and/or amp power to be able to match that peak output level. As an example my old speakers have an 8 ohm 96dB woofer array that goes to 105db peaks with an 8 watt Paramount. I needed 32 watts into the 4 ohm midrange driver to keep up, because it was only rated 90dB (power requirement equivalent to an 87dB 8 ohm driver). Hence I used four Paramounts in series on the midrange.

Hmmm, this is going to be an interesting boondoggle.  Not much for measurements on the web, and I would have to measure them in place to set things up right.

All you need is the sensitivity and impedance specs of the speaker, and the output power of the amp driving them into that impedance to figure how loud they can play.

The MMGs are 86 dB at 2.83V and are 4 ohms. What is the amp power?

Try one amp. If you need more juice try two, and so on...

OK, I just looked at your gear list, duh. The MMGs are used with a Stereomour. So the demands on a sub amp are minimal. The 86dB Peerless will indeed be a reasonable match used with a Seductor.

Thanks,
Soon as I figure out my username/password I'll get an order in (got the dreaded "not authorized" page using my forum credentials).

Forum and shopping cart are completely separate accounts.  By default, the shopping cart user name is your e-mail (you have at least two accounts, one with your att e-mail, and one with your yahoo), and if you do not remember your password, it can be reset at this link.
