Hi all

I build the crack without issue. I did not notice anything special except on the volume potentiometer crackling noise (almost completely gone after few manipulations and adding a contact cleaner). Then after +/- 8hours of pleasure I added the speedball.

Now my problem is only on the right chanel. I have a non-permanent noise. He's coming, he's going. very disturbing at low volume.
-Some times when I unplug/plug my headphone the noise goes away.
-Some times when I power off/on the crack the noise goes away.

I have no experience in electronic, this is only my third eletronic build.
Maybe a ground or capacitor issue  ???

Thank's for you'r help (and sorry for my poor english).

PS: Of course, as if by magic. No issue at all this morning  :o
I send this post anyway if you have an idea of what to check when I hear the noise…

Setup: Linux kernel 4.11.12-1-RT16-Manjaro > DeaDBeeF > (USB) > ADI-2 Pro > (Neutrik Jack/RCA "Profi" + SC-ALBEDO MKII) > Crack > Beyerdynamic T90

I would resolder all of the joints in the original build.  Sometimes when installing a Speedball, you'll disturb a joint that was working properly previously, but wasn't quite all the way solid.

I agree  :-[ I noticed today when I move the Crack (or unplug the jack and move the front panel just a little) with the vibrations the noise goes away.
I was quite proud of my welds. I will look on this.
thx  ;)
