So I've JUST finished my Stereomour (took me far too long!), and am so happy with it. This is my first SET amplifier, and though I haven't had the opportunity to do some critical listening, it does create an almost holographic image - music just seems to appear from unique, discrete positions, just floating in air.

However, occasionally, there are young children in the house that aren't mine (I've trained my daughter not to touch!), and don't want them to get a nasty scare from those hot valves. Are there any cages that are suitable for this amp, or something else that can help protect curious fingers?

Please consult local authorities before putting children in cages.

Hello,

I've noticed there are a lot of products like these, link below, that might be suitable for tube cage applications.  Typically things like pen/pencil holders, in/out baskets and so on.  It is difficult to find them deep enough for tall tubes but not excessively wide or long.  In any event, searching for these kinds of things, online or wandering around Storables or other purveyors of such housewares, might prove fruitful.
