I have had a problem with top end rolling off in my right ear during allergy season as my Eustachian tube gets clogged. This year has been extra bad for pollen. Went in for a hearing check today and it turns out that except for the expected clogged right ear HF drop my hearing is in the "0-25dB HL threshold, normal adult hearing" category. Woo-Hoo! I attribute a lot of this to being religious about wearing earplugs around power tools, mowers, motorcycles and other loud stuff. Wear your plugs, and don't give me any bull about already having hearing loss. That is all the more reason to preserve what you have.
