oh ok thanks, but when you say plug it to a source, and don't play music, do you mean like plug a 3.5mm to say.. a cellphone but don't play music? Or keep the volume at zero? then to the RCA in of the crack? Am I getting it right? I assume if you plug it to a source there's suppose to be music..

You can do either (play nothing, and/or put the source volume at zero.
