Hi,

From checking pass postings, I see that terminal 21 is grounded through the transformer bell. However, I have already painted the bells and don't really want to scrape off any paint (knowing me, I'll probably mess it up). Is it ok to ground terminal 21 by connecting it with a wire to a ground tab, such as the one next to the "C" socket?

Thx.

Tightening down the transformer hardware should be enough to provide a ground for you there.  Do not, under any circumstances, start wiring in extra grounds to make these connections.

This question comes up occasionally across the spectrum of amp and preamp kits. The toothed lockwashers cut through any coating and create continuity 99.9% of the time.

I got the transformers mounted along with the 6-lug terminal strips. Sure enough, the end terminals are connected through the bell cover. (In the case of the BeePre, the star lockwashers go underneath the bell, so I think the bolt heads are what cut through the paint when turned.)
