I may eventually build a Stereomour, though not soon, due to cashflow....so I'm going to have to stick with my heavily-modded S.E.X. for a while longer. I was intrigued by some of the comments about the Stereomour's new house-designed OPTs. Any chance that these could be sold separately, as for use with the S.E.X. amp? The multiple output impedances, and presumably higher inductance than most off-the-shelf cheapies (aka Specos) is tempting.

Doc B will have to address that question. Eventually (I hope) these transformers will be used in the next version of the S.E.X. amp - they were designed to work equally well at 4K and 8K impedances. Even if they should become available, they would not likely be much cheaper than the Magnequest upgrade iron, which is frankly better built with better materials and better measurements. Whether it makes sense to have an intermediate quality level is an open question at this point.
