Completed my Crack a couple days ago and noticed a slight ring or hum, even with the volume all the way down. I noticed this morning that there was a buzz coming from the amp itself. I tightened the screws on the transformer but that doesn’t appear to have changed the buzzing with the amp itself. Is this potentially a grounding issue? Or do I need to crank those down even more?

I would just be sure all of the hardware is tight and redo your voltage checks.

Yeah, I’ll try that tomorrow. It seems to have gone away after about 30 minutes of use, so I wonder whether it’s a burn-in thing since I’m not positive if it’s the 6080 tube or the transformer buzzing. I have a new tube to roll in at some point too.
