Can someone tell me what type of Battery was used in the now discontinued BottleBatt?

I also need to order a new battery for my BottleBatt.  How do you open the case to replace the battery?  I don't want to remove any screws I don't have to!

I would take the front panel off and move it out of the way, then you should be able to slide the cover off.

One more question,  does the selector switch screw onto the front faceplate or is it a friction fit?  Not sure how to remove it and don't want to damage anything!

You don't need to remove it.  Just take the screws off and let the plate move out of the way with the selector still attached.
