Hi all,

I am the proud owner of possibly the neatest Mainline ever built.  I wish I could claim credit for this immaculate project, but that goes to fellow South African headphone nutter Michon de Villiers.  I hope someone finds inspiration in his incredible craftsmanship - believe it or not this was his first-ever DIY project!

The Mainline is now part of a collection that includes the original SPL Phonitor, PS Audio GCHA, Perreaux SXH-2, Krell KSA-5 Klone and a beast of a custom-built, cost-no-object 6EA7-based SET OTL.  In terms of sound quality the Mainline is certainly more reference tuned than warm and woolly - sort of Phonitor with a touch more soul.  A keeper for sure!

Very nicely done. Patience + OCD are a good combination.  :)
