Phono preamp output

On my current system, I don't have a way to listen to records with headphones.  Is there any reason why I can't use rca splitters on a phono preamp output and send one set to my Quickie and one set to an Onyko integrated amp?  The Onkyo has a headphone amp built in, so if this setup is ok, that will fix my issue temporarily.

It depends a little on the output impedance of your phono preamp and the input impedances of the devices it would feed.

Why not feed the Quickie into the Onkyo?

Are you suggesting splitting the Quickie output, and running 1 set of rcas to my power amp and one set to the Onkyo inputs (like the CD input?). I don't have preamp inputs on the Onkyo.  The phono preamp is a Rega fono mini.

Not sure what you mean.  The Onkyo model number is the TX-SR505.  Are line level inputs preamp level inputs, or inputs for devices like cd, dvd, etc?

I'm not sure what a preamp level input is.  Some integrated amplifiers have a main output/preamp input, but that's just a split between the preamp and power amp.  A line level input would take signal from devices like a CD player, phone, etc.  You could plug the Quickie into one of those.

That input was generally called AUX in the old days.

Just tried it out.  Listened to James Taylor's Sweet Baby James.  I don't remember ever hearing the piano so well.  Got some nice harmonics going there :). Everything seems to be working fine, thanks!
