Balance control pot

If this is not a welcome post please feel free to remove it. My kit come with a 100K log pot(A100K) as the balance control, should be 100K lin (B100K) I e-mailed replacement parts for a replacement.
My reason for this post is if other builders possibly got the same part they should cheque it before installing and soldering it in place, luckily I caught mine before hand trying to calibrate the center point of the indicator knob with a VOM. April fools day is still a few months off!
