I just updated the shipping status webpage. Every kit is caught up save for a handful of Crack kit orders. This is the most caught up that status page has looked in years. Maybe ever.

It's not for lack of business. We had what might be a record first quarter this year. We have just been upping our inventory and putting the majority of our focus on getting kits packed and shipped. In other words we having been busting our butts the past five months.

So right now is maybe the best time ever to order a kit. We have a lot of parts in stock, save for a few backorders. We have time to continue concentrating on getting kits out before our life shifts focus to racing and a wedding in the family later this summer.

The only thing not on the menu at the moment is Jagers. We just got word that the cabinets should be ready next week, and we are working on getting the other parts made over the next few weeks. We will start taking orders for the new run very, very soon.

So if you have been kicking around the idea of ordering a kit now is a great time to pull the trigger. Support on the forum is the best it has ever been thanks to our skilled tech and industrial designer PB keeping a watchful eye over your questions on a daily basis. The manuals are the best they have ever been thanks to the continued refinement by tech writer Josh Harris. The circuits just get better and better as head designer PJ and PB work together to continue to evolve our unique circuitry. I have done a new series of how to videos to guide you through finishing your cabinets and installing the hardware, with more to come. Lead time is at a minimum at the moment as Queenie and I hammer away full tilt at kitting parts and shipping kits.

What the heck are you waiting for?

I've observed that PB is on all hours of the day seven days a week answering questions and getting people out of a bind too. I'm sure that helps folks in other time zones beyond the U.S. borders.

Thanks for all you guys do. I'll give you all a virtual pat on the back. My well worn Bottlehead products played an important part of my mental wellness during the pandemic. Thank You.

Yaa Hoo! I have a S.E.X. coming "in the mail". I am waiting with bated breath. I am also putting the final touches on some full range speakers that should be ready about the same time I finish the S.E.X. What is bated breath anyway?

Bated breath is a shortened form of abated breath, i.e. your are holding your breath. (Baited breath means you've been eating anchovies ...  :^)

What are you using for full-range speakers?

That's what I thought about bated breath. But we digress... I am using Fostex FE206NVs right now due to budget constraints. The speakers are now in an open back support to break them in and make a comparison. I will have them in a folded horn cabinet. The cabinet design comes from Fostex but modified to have curved horns instead of flat slabs. This is a bit of an experiment session.

Interestingly enough, the folded horn cabinets sound great. Just for kicks - I dropped my phone in one and the sound is amplified and much richer than the phone alone. Then I set the phone on a piece of insulation in the cabinet and the result is outstanding. One more coat of paint and they will be ready for the Fostex.

Really can't wait to hear all of this (Moreplay, S.E.X. and Fostex) together. Next I start selling body parts to get a great set of speakers. I wonder what a 60 year old, well used, kidney is worth?

You are going to love it! Should pair up nicely with your horns. What kind of source are you planing to use? Phono, DAC, Tape, Receiver?

Using an old CD player and my laptop now. Planning to buy (download) some better quality music also. Really don't want to go phono because it could be rather addictive.
