First time doing this, everything went really smooth (great instructions), other than me accidentally soldering the volume pot to A6 and then burning my nice new wooden base with the soldering iron trying to resoldering everything troubleshooting that problem  :'(
I asked for this kit for Father's day and my wife forgot to add the badge to the order, otherwise that'd proudly be on there!
All that said, I love it! Can't wait to do the Speedball upgrade in a month or so!

Is there somewhere I can find that explains the purpose of the various components / arrangement? I loved putting it together, I'd almost appreciate a separate companion PDF that just explains the why of everything.

Very nice work!

IMO the Crack is one of the most Iconic hifi pieces of its' era to ever be created. The incarnation, the engineering, the support, the look, the sound! And the wonderful people behind the product! Made in U.S.A.!!! As close to a fairy-tale result as you'll get IMO!
