Odd issue here.  I seem to have channel imbalance on only the first 3 steps of the fine attenuator. -7.5, -6.0, and -4.5 all have about 1 third louder volume in the right channel. Once I get to -3.0 , -1.5 , and 0 on the fine attenuator the channel balance is perfect.

Any ideas on what to check first?

Also, once at -7.5 on the fine, if I exert a little bit of pressure to the left, the channels are suddenly balanced. However if I wiggle it a bit with slightl pressure to left or right, without engaging an actual step change, the channels pop a bit. Where it naturally wants to rest is on imbalanced channel. This popping with wiggle only occurs on -7.5.

-6.0 or -4.5. are always imbalanced (louder right channel) with no popping with wiggling.

Course volume does not effect this behavior.

I'm also noticing that the second click to the right on the course is quite loud with HD650 onlow or high gain. I'm pretty much stuck on leaving course on zero and only adjusting fine, which doesn't get quite as loud as I would like.  Is this normal behavior? Was hoping to get more adjustment.  This is with Bifrost 2.
